Getting started on ULTRAMINT

ULTRAMINT is a prediction market. You buy shares of the outcome you think will happen. If it does, each share pays $1, less a small settlement fee taken from the winnings. Everything is paid in USDC on Base, and every purchase and payout is recorded publicly.

Signing in

There is no password and no browser extension. You sign in with your email address or your Google account, and you are in.

With email, Turnkey, our key provider, sends you a one-time code each time you sign in, and checks it; the code is your sign-in. With Google there is no code.

Signing in gives you your own signing key, held by Turnkey. You sign with it alone, and ULTRAMINT can never sign with it on its own. That key controls your ULTRAMINT account, which holds your USDC. ULTRAMINT cannot move your funds without your approval: each money action is a request you approve on ULTRAMINT's approval screen, except small quick Buys. See How Buys are approved.

Two things worth knowing on day one:

  • Your email is your account. Email and Google reach the same account when Google confirms it is the same address. A different email gives you a different account.
  • Keep access to your sign-in. If you lose it, ULTRAMINT cannot restore your account. See Wallet security.

What you agree to

When you register you tick two separate boxes: that you are at least 18, and that you accept the Terms of Service. Neither box is pre-ticked, and a registration without both is refused.

This is not a one-time step. When the Terms change, you are asked to accept the new version before you carry on. If you join Seasons, your acceptance of the Rewards Terms is recorded too. See Who can use ULTRAMINT.

What you need before your first purchase

What a market looks like

Every market is one question with a fixed set of outcomes and a written resolution rule. On the market page you see:

  • A price per outcome, in cents. 42¢ means the market gives that outcome about a 42% chance. See How prices work.
  • A close time. After it, no more buying.
  • Who resolves it, and from what source. Read this before you buy, especially on a Members only market, which its creator resolves.
  • Whether it earns yield: No vault, or variable yield through Euler V2.
