ULTRAMINT — FEE SCHEDULE
Operator: Vivaach SRL, Costa Rica
Version: v2.0 [DRAFT]
Effective date: [insert on publication]
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This Fee Schedule is the "Fee Schedule" referred to in, and incorporated by reference into, the ULTRAMINT Terms of Service (§7.2). It is the single place where ULTRAMINT states the money terms of its markets: what a buyer pays, what a winning position redeems for, how a market's house take is divided, and what a market creator, a Market Promoter, a seed funder and a Town owner can receive. Other ULTRAMINT documents and Help articles refer to the clauses below rather than restating them. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. Vivaach SRL (the "Platform") may amend this Fee Schedule for markets created after the amendment (Section 15); a market keeps the economic terms of the version in force when it was created.
1. Summary
1.1 What a buyer pays. There is no fee to buy a position. The price you pay includes a small spread built into the market's pricing curve (Section 2). A settlement fee is deducted only from a winning redemption (Section 3). Nothing is deducted from a losing position, and a voided market charges no fee at all (Section 10).
1.2 Where the money goes. The settlement fee is not a Platform revenue charge: it stays in the market as its fee pot, which is paid first to the market's creator pool (Section 4). The rest of the market's house take, including the spread, is divided between the creator pool and the market's treasury in the order set out in Section 4. Market Promoters are paid out of the creator pool (Section 5). In a Partner Town, the treasury's share is split with the Town owner (Section 6).
1.3 What a creator pays and risks. A creator funds an opening seed, and a market resolved by the Platform also carries a resolution prepayment (Section 7). Both can instead be paid by a seed funder (Section 8). The seed is capital at risk (Section 4.4).
1.4 Optional extras. A market may earn yield on the collateral it holds, if its creator turns that on (Section 9). Challenging a proposed result requires a challenge bond (Section 11). Positions funded with $UM credits follow the rule in Section 13.
1.5 Fixed at creation. Every economic term of a market (its fee curve, its shares, its yield setting and its creation costs) is fixed when the market is created and shown before it is minted and before anyone buys. The Platform cannot change those terms for a market that already exists (Section 15).
2. Buying a Position
2.1 No fee to buy. The Platform charges no fee, commission or account charge when you buy a position. The amount you authorize is the amount that goes into the market.
2.2 Prices are probabilities. The price shown for each outcome is the market's current implied probability of that outcome. The prices of all outcomes in a market sum to 100% (subject to rounding in the display). Prices are set by the market's automated pricing curve (LS-LMSR), not by an order book.
2.3 The spread. Buying moves the price: the next share of an outcome costs slightly more than that outcome's displayed probability. The difference is the market's spread. On a balanced book, the cost of buying one more share of every outcome sums to:
1 + α(N) × N × log₂N
where N is the number of outcomes and α(N) is the market's liquidity parameter. α(N) is 3% for a binary market and smaller for markets with more outcomes. The resulting figures on a balanced book are:
| Outcomes (N) | Cost of one more share of every outcome |
|---|---|
| 2 (binary) | 106.0% |
| 3 | about 109.8% |
| 4 | about 112.3% |
| 8 | about 119% |
On an unbalanced book the sum is lower, because the spread depends on how evenly the market's positions are spread across its outcomes. The spread is zero while the market is at its minimum depth, that is, until enough has been bought that the curve starts to deepen with volume.
2.4 The spread stays in the market. The spread is not paid to the Platform at the time of purchase. It stays in the market and becomes part of the market's house take, which is divided under Section 4.
2.5 Price impact and the quote. A larger purchase moves the price further, so the average price you pay across a purchase can be above the price displayed before it. The Interface shows the quote (the shares you receive and the amount you pay) before you sign, and your purchase is protected by a maximum price move, under the Terms of Service (§5.8).
2.6 When a buy is refused. A buy does not go through if: the amount is too small to buy any shares; the price has moved by more than your maximum price move; the market is closed, stopped or paused; or you are in a restricted place or otherwise ineligible (Terms of Service §4). The number of outcomes a market may have is set out in the Market Rules and Resolution Policy.
2.7 No selling before resolution. A position cannot be sold, transferred or cashed out before the market resolves (Risk Disclosure §3.4). There is therefore no fee for selling.
3. Settlement Fee
3.1 Charged on winning redemptions only. A settlement fee is deducted from the amount a winning position redeems for. Nothing is charged on a losing position, nothing is charged when you buy, and nothing is charged on a voided market (Section 10).
3.2 The rate. The rate for a market is:
rate = 0.5% + 1.5% × H / (H + V)
where V is the market's final total volume as recorded by the market's contract, and H is 1,000,000 USDC of volume. The rate is therefore 2.0% on a market with no volume, 1.25% on a market whose volume equals H, and falls toward 0.5% as volume grows.
3.3 When the rate is read. The curve is fixed in the market's contract when the market is created. The rate is read once, at resolution, from the market's final volume, and the same rate applies to every holder in that market. A rate shown while a market is open is an estimate based on its volume so far; the final rate can only be the same or lower.
3.4 Worked example. A winning position of 100 shares redeems for 100.00 USDC before the fee. If the market's final volume is very small, the holder receives about 98.00 USDC; if it equals H, 98.75 USDC; on a very deep market, close to 99.50 USDC.
3.5 Winners are paid in full. A winning share always redeems for 1 USDC less the settlement fee. The only exception is a shortfall in a yield vault that the market chose to use (Section 9.5). There is no other deduction from a winning redemption: a lopsided book is absorbed by the seed, not by the winners (Section 4.4).
3.6 Computed by the contract. The rate is computed by the market's contract from the market's own recorded volume. It cannot be varied for an individual market or holder after the market is created.
4. Settlement Order and the Fee Pot
4.1 The house take. A market's house take is what remains in the market after every winning position is paid and the seed is refunded. It is made up of the settlement fees, the spread and the stakes of losing positions.
4.2 The fee pot. The settlement fees deducted from winning redemptions stay in the market as its fee pot. The fee pot is part of the house take and is divided first, under Section 4.3(c).
4.3 Settlement order. When a market settles, its contract pays out in this order:
(a) Winners. Every winning position is paid in full under Section 3.5.
(b) Seed. The seed is refunded to whoever provided it, the creator or a seed funder (Section 8). The seed is senior to every share below.
(c) Fee pot. The market's fee share of the fee pot goes to the creator pool. The launch default fee share is 100%.
(d) Residual. Of the rest of the house take, including the spread, the market's residual creator share goes to the creator pool. The launch default residual creator share is 48%.
(e) Treasury. Everything left goes to the market's treasury. The treasury first pays any seed-funder reward (Section 8.2). What remains belongs to the Platform, or, in a Partner Town, is split between the Platform and the Town owner (Section 6).
4.4 A lopsided book reduces the seed, not the winners. If one outcome wins after most of the market's volume was bought on it, the market may hold less than it needs to pay every winner and refund the seed. Winners are still paid in full. The seed absorbs the deficit, so a seed can be returned only in part or not at all, and in that case there may be no house take to divide.
4.5 The creator pool. The creator pool is paid to the market's creator, less what is owed to Market Promoters under Section 5. A market with no Market Promoters pays its creator pool to the creator in full.
4.6 Shares are fixed per market. The fee share, the residual creator share and the Market Promoter cap (Section 5.4) are set for each market by Platform policy, shown in the creation flow, and fixed in the market's contract when it is created. The Platform may change the defaults for markets created afterwards; it cannot change the shares of a market that already exists.
4.7 The fee is not Platform revenue. At the launch defaults the whole fee pot goes to the creator pool. The Platform's share of a market comes only from what reaches the treasury under Section 4.3(e).
4.8 Audit scope. The fee pot, the per-market creator shares and the Market Promoter cap were introduced in a contract release that was not covered by the external audit of the protocol contracts (Risk Disclosure §12.1).
5. Market Promoters
5.1 Who is a Market Promoter. A Market Promoter is anyone whose promoter link brings a buy into a market. The buy's volume is attributed to that Market Promoter. In the market contracts a Market Promoter is called a "sponsor"; the two words mean the same role.
5.2 No approval. Any eligible account can act as a Market Promoter. A creator does not approve, select or decline Market Promoters, and the Platform does not assign them. You cannot promote your own buys: a buy you make through your own link is not attributed to you.
5.3 What a Market Promoter is paid. Each Market Promoter is paid from the creator pool, in proportion to the share of the market's total volume they brought. A Market Promoter whose links brought a tenth of a market's volume is owed a tenth of its creator pool.
5.4 The cap. If all of a market's Market Promoters together would be owed more than the market's Market Promoter cap, the cap is shared among them pro rata to the volume each brought. The launch default cap is 80% of the creator pool. The creator keeps the rest of the creator pool.
5.5 What it is not. A Market Promoter's payment is settled on-chain out of the creator pool when the market settles. It never reduces what a buyer pays or receives, the seed, or the treasury's share. It is not a Season reward or an account balance. Self-referral, coordinated accounts and attribution obtained by misrepresentation or automated means are prohibited (Terms of Service §6.14).
6. Towns
6.1 Tiers. Towns are ranked into tiers (Seed, Growth and Prime) by their trading volume over the past 30 days. These tiers are for recognition only and carry no revenue share.
6.2 Partner Towns. Only the Partner tier can carry a revenue split. A Partner split is agreed with the Platform case by case, applies to the whole Town, is set by the Platform and may be changed by it. It applies only to markets created in the Town after it is set.
6.3 What is split. In a Partner Town market, the treasury's share under Section 4.3(e) is split between the Platform and the Town owner at the agreed rate. A Partner split does not reduce the creator pool, Market Promoter payments, the seed or anything paid to buyers. The Platform does not publish Partner rates.
6.4 Other Towns. Markets in Towns below the Partner tier, including their Members only markets, follow Section 4 like any public market, with the treasury's share going to the Platform.
7. Creating a Market: Seed and Resolution Prepayment
7.1 Seed. Every market opens with a seed that sets its starting depth. The minimum seed is 5 USDC; the creation flow suggests an amount. A larger seed makes a deeper market, so a purchase moves the price less.
7.2 The seed is capital at risk. The seed is refunded at settlement under Section 4.3(b), but a lopsided book can take part or all of it (Section 4.4), and a yield-vault shortfall can reduce it (Section 9.5). On a voided market the seed is refunded under Section 10.
7.3 Resolution prepayment. A market resolved by the Platform (any public market) also carries a resolution prepayment:
0.25 USDC + 0.000004 USDC for each second of committed duration
The committed duration runs from creation to the market's close plus its resolution horizon. For example, a market with a committed duration of 30 days prepays 0.25 + 10.368 = 10.618 USDC.
7.4 Refund of unused time. The 0.25 USDC base is not refundable. The per-second part for time the market did not use is refunded at resolution to whoever paid it (the creator or a seed funder). The part that is not refunded goes to the Platform's treasury.
7.5 Members only markets. A Members only market is resolved by its creator and pays no resolution prepayment.
7.6 Shown before you mint. The seed, the prepayment and its refundable part are shown in the creation flow before you sign. Creation is also subject to Platform-wide limits on how many markets one account may have active and may create per day, which the creation flow shows when they are reached (Market Creator Agreement §6).
8. Seed Funders and the Creator Program
8.1 Seed funders. A third party, or the Platform, can pay a creator's seed and resolution prepayment. That person is the market's seed funder, and the market is a seed-funded market. The refunded seed and any refunded prepayment go back to the seed funder; they are a return of the funding, not a reward.
8.2 The seed-funder reward. A seed funder may also receive a reward, paid out of the market treasury's share (Section 4.3(e)) before the Platform keeps the rest. The reward is a share of the treasury's share, capped relative to the amount funded. It is never paid from the creator pool or from anything owed to buyers. If the treasury receives nothing, the reward is zero. The exact terms are shown to the seed funder before they fund.
8.3 The creator program. The Platform runs a creator program that funds seeds for creators. A creator whose resolved (not voided) markets draw enough volume and enough traders from outside their own accounts can be approved for Platform-funded seeds. An approved creator holds a small number of credits; each credit funds a small seed on a short-horizon market, within a monthly budget. The Platform sets the qualifying thresholds, the number of credits, the seed size, the horizon and the budget, and may change or end the program for future approvals.
9. Yield
9.1 Opt-in. A creator can choose, when creating a market, to have the collateral it holds earn yield in an Euler V2 vault on Base. Yield is off by default. Whether a market uses a vault, and which one, is shown before you buy.
9.2 Handling fee. A handling fee of 15% of the gross yield is taken from yield only, never from principal. The handling fee is not transferred separately: it stays in the market and is swept with the house take under Section 4.
9.3 Who receives the yield. The net yield is shared among the market's positions by an exact yield-per-stake accumulator: each stake earns the yield produced while it is in the vault, in proportion to its size. A stake bought late earns only from the time it entered. Winners, losers and holders in a voided market all receive their share.
9.4 When it is paid. Yield is paid when a market settles or is voided, not while it is open. Yield is variable, can be zero and is not guaranteed.
9.5 Vault shortfall. If the vault loses value, the shortfall is absorbed first by the house take and then by the seed, and only then reduces winning payouts and refunds pro rata. In that case a winning share can pay less than 1 USDC less the settlement fee.
9.6 Recall before payout. The collateral must be withdrawn from the vault before a market can settle or be voided. If the vault delays or blocks that withdrawal, payouts and refunds wait until it succeeds (Risk Disclosure §12.6).
10. Voided Markets
10.1 What a void returns. When a market is voided:
(a) no settlement fee is charged;
(b) every stake is refunded in the amount paid, including the part of it that was spread, reduced only by a yield-vault shortfall (Section 9.5);
(c) stakes funded with $UM credits are restored as $UM credits, not paid in USDC (Section 13);
(d) the seed is refunded to whoever provided it, subject to the same vault caveat;
(e) the unused part of any resolution prepayment is refunded to whoever paid it, less the non-refundable base (Section 7.4); and
(f) any accrued yield is shared among holders under Section 9.3.
10.2 Nothing else is paid. A voided market produces no house take, so it pays nothing to the creator pool, to Market Promoters, to a seed funder as a reward, or to the treasury.
10.3 Which markets are voided. The causes of a void, automatic and manual, are set out in the Market Rules and Resolution Policy.
11. Challenge Bonds
11.1 The bond. Challenging a proposed result on a market resolved by the Platform requires a challenge bond of 5% of the market's volume, with a minimum of 50 USDC and a maximum of 2,500 USDC. The full amount is shown before you sign.
11.2 Not a fee. The bond is not a fee. Whether it is refunded or forfeited depends on how the challenge ends, as set out in the Market Rules and Resolution Policy.
11.3 Members only markets. A Members only market has no challenge and no bond.
12. Up/Down Rounds and Combos
12.1 Platform-created formats. Up/Down rounds and Combos are created by the Platform, not by a creator. They have no creator pool and no Market Promoter share. Their whole house take goes to the Platform's treasury.
12.2 Settlement fee. Each Up/Down round and each Combo charges the settlement fee under Section 3 on its winning redemptions. A Combo charges the fee once, on its joint result, not separately on each leg.
12.3 Spread and price move. The pricing curve and spread under Section 2 apply to rounds and Combos as to any market. The maximum price move for an Up/Down round is fixed and cannot be changed (Terms of Service §5.8).
12.4 Voids. A voided round or Combo refunds under Section 10. When an Up/Down round or a Combo voids is set out in the Market Rules and Resolution Policy.
13. $UM Credits
13.1 Not cash. $UM credits are a promotional balance. They cannot be withdrawn, and the credits you stake are never paid back as USDC.
13.2 Profit-only payout. If a position funded with $UM credits wins, only the part of its redemption (after the settlement fee) that exceeds the credits staked is paid, in USDC. A losing or break-even credit-funded position pays no USDC.
13.3 Voids. On a voided market, the credits staked are restored as $UM credits.
13.4 No mixing. A single position is funded either with USDC or with $UM credits, never both.
13.5 Expiry. How long $UM credits remain usable is set out in the Rewards Terms.
14. Network Gas and Funding Providers
14.1 No gas. Your transactions are relayed by the Platform's Relay Service, which is operated by Vivaach SRL and pays the network gas. You do not need to hold ETH or any other native asset, and gas spent on a transaction that reverts on-chain is borne by the Platform.
14.2 Limits. The Relay Service applies per-address rate limits and spending limits. Gasless relay is not guaranteed to remain available (Terms of Service §5.6). If you act on-chain directly, you pay your own gas.
14.3 No deposit or withdrawal fee. The Platform charges no fee to add USDC to, or withdraw USDC from, your account. ULTRAMINT uses native USDC on Base.
14.4 Funding providers. If you add funds through a third-party provider offered in the Interface, such as a card on-ramp, that provider may charge its own fees and exchange rates, which it shows to you. Those charges are the provider's, not the Platform's.
15. Changes to This Fee Schedule
15.1 Future markets only. The Platform may amend this Fee Schedule, including the default shares in Section 4.6, the Market Promoter cap, the seed minimum, the resolution prepayment, the handling fee and the challenge bond. An amendment applies only to markets created after it takes effect.
15.2 Existing markets keep their terms. Each market keeps the version of this Fee Schedule in force when it was created, for its whole life. Superseded versions are archived at /legal/fee-schedule/versions.
15.3 Notice. Material changes are notified as set out in the Terms of Service (§7.2 and §7.3).
