Who can use Ultramint

To use Ultramint, you need to be old enough and in a place where Ultramint is offered. Both are checked.

Age

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher. You confirm this when you sign up.

Where you are

Ultramint isn't offered everywhere. Today, it isn't available in:

  • the United States
  • Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia and Belarus
  • every EU and EEA country, and the United Kingdom
  • Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand
  • Canada, Brazil and Ukraine

The Prohibited Jurisdictions Policy has the full, binding list. It can change.

Anyone can browse public pages. Signing up, and anything that needs your account or moves money, checks where you're connecting from.

VPNs and proxies

Connections through a VPN, proxy, Tor, or a hosting or datacenter network can only browse. The check can't tell where you are when your connection is built to hide it.

Trying to get around the check breaks the Terms of Service, wherever you really are.

If you're refused by mistake

The screen tells you why:

To fix it:

  1. Turn off any VPN or proxy and try again. This fixes most cases.
  2. Try another network, such as mobile data instead of office Wi-Fi.
  3. Still stuck? Contact support with the IP address you're connecting from. Search "what is my IP" to find it. We can't look it up ourselves, because we don't store it.

What we keep from the check

Almost nothing. A result stays in memory for a day at most and is never saved to a database. It's never stored under your IP address. See the Privacy Policy.

It's your call

Being able to reach Ultramint doesn't mean using it is legal where you are. Ultramint holds no licence in any country. Check your local rules.
