Withdrawal addresses and the cooling-off period
Your USDC can leave your ULTRAMINT account only to a withdrawal address you added yourself. A new address cannot be used straight away, which gives you time to notice if someone else added it.
Adding an address
- Open Funds, then Withdraw, and add a Base address.
- Approve the request in your wallet.
- Wait for the cooling-off period to end.
Check the address character by character. Make sure it can receive USDC on Base: an exchange account, for example, must accept deposits on Base.
The cooling-off period
A new address is pending until the period ends, then ready. The default is 24 hours. The protocol can set it anywhere from 12 hours to 7 days, and it is never zero. The screen shows the time your address becomes ready. The period is fixed when you add the address.
The warning when an address is added
ULTRAMINT warns you whenever an address is added: in your notifications, and by email when your account has an email address on file. If you get that warning and you did not add an address, treat it as a warning sign:
- Open your account and remove the address.
- Contact support: see Contacting support.
ULTRAMINT will never ask you to add an address for "verification" or "unlocking".
Removing or cancelling
You can remove an address, or cancel one that is still pending, at any time. It takes effect straight away and needs a wallet approval.
Withdrawing
Each withdrawal is its own wallet approval and can only go to an address that is ready. There is no daily withdrawal limit. An address that is still pending cannot be used, however large or small the amount.
A transfer to a wrong but valid address cannot be reversed by ULTRAMINT or anyone else, so only add addresses you control or trust.
Every approval expires within minutes if unused and cannot be replayed. See How Buys are approved.
