Product analytics

ULTRAMINT measures how the product is used, so we can see what works and fix what doesn't. We collect this ourselves, only if you agree, and it isn't linked to your account.

What we measure

  • The pages you open and the features you use, such as opening a market, starting a Buy, choosing a way to deposit, or using search.
  • Errors you hit, and how fast pages load.
  • How long a visit lasts and how many pages it covers.
  • How you arrived, as a broad category such as search, social or an invite link.
  • Your country, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer.

Values are kept broad. A Buy's size is stored as a range such as 10 to 50 USDC, never the amount. What you type into search is never sent.

Not linked to your account

No account, wallet address, email, handle or name goes with these events. Page addresses, page titles and the site you came from aren't stored. Your IP address is used only to limit how many requests one address can send, and isn't stored.

Each browser tab gets a random session id, ultramint_pa_session, kept in that tab's session storage. It groups the events of one visit and nothing else. It's replaced after 30 minutes without activity or after 12 hours, and it's never joined to your account. This also means we can't find your events to show or delete them on request.

Why we measure it

To see, across everyone, which pages and features are used, where people stop, and which errors and slow pages need fixing. It isn't used for ads, and no decision about your account is based on it.

Who receives it

It goes to ULTRAMINT's own servers and is stored in our own database. No analytics company, advertiser or data broker receives it. Google Analytics runs under the same consent as a separate service, described in the Privacy Policy.

How long it's kept

Raw events are deleted after 90 days. We may keep totals, such as daily page counts, for longer. Totals hold no session id.

Turning it off

Product analytics uses the Analytics category of the cookie banner. Nothing is collected until you accept it.

  1. Open Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page.
  2. Switch Analytics off and save your choice.

Collection stops at once, anything waiting to be sent is dropped, and the session id is deleted. Google Analytics stops too. Nothing else on ULTRAMINT changes.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, product analytics stays off even if you accept Analytics.

The full detail is in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
